Procedure

For treatment of:

Intercostal Nerve Block

Pain originating and traveling along the intercostals nerve.

Lumbar Sympathetic Block

Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (Complex Regional Syndrome) of the lower extremity

Stellate Ganglion Block

Reflex sympathetic (Complex Regional Syndrome) of the upper extremity.

Epidural Steroid Injection

Radicular pain (i.e., neck/arm pain or low back/leg pain)

Celiac Plexus Block

Upper abdominal pain, which can be due to cancer or chronic pancreatic.

Suprascapular Nerve Block

Suprascapular neuralgia, shoulder area pain and discomfort and pain in the area of the belly of the supraspinatus muscle and tendon.

Sacroiliac Joint Injection

Pain generated by the inflammatory process or arthritic process within the sacroiliac joint.   This pain may be localized in the lower back region, either unilateral or bilateral, or radicular pain to the lower extremity.

Peripheral Nerve Injections

(1) intercostals nerves – between the ribs; ilioinguinal and/or genitofemoral nerves for groin pain; the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve for upper thigh pain; greater and lesser occipital nerve injections for headaches in the back of the head.

Facet Nerve Blocks

Neck or lower back pain caused in part by the small facet joints of the spine.

Trigger Point Injections

Performed for myofascial pain, which is pain in a specific muscle or muscle group.

Radiofrequency Ablation

Neck or back pain on patients who have had a very good response (but for a short period only) with a steroid injection of their facet joint.
