Meet Our Staff
Providers
Pamela Y. Thomas-King, M.D., Medical Director, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School. She completed her residency in Anesthesia at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Immediately following residency, Dr. Thomas-King entered a 12-month fellowship training program in pain management at Duke. She is board certified in both anesthesia and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesia. In 1996, she opened the Pain Management and Treatment Center as a solo practitioner.
George P. King, II., M.D. Pain Specialist/Anesthesiologist, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School. He completed his four year residency in Anesthesia at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. King has been a practicing anesthesiologist and pain management specialist in the Milwaukee area for more than ten years.
Brian E. Christofferson, PA-C, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry. In 1999, he completed the requirements for a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University. Brian has been practicing in the Milwaukee area since completing his masters and joined our team in January, 2001.
Our providers are all trained in the complexity of pain and will guide each patient through the treatment that is most appropriate for their pain. They are dedicated to remaining on the forefront of pain management education and treatment and will continue to lead the way well into the future.

Our physical therapy staff is experienced in treating chronic pain and recognize the problems which need special consideration in the use of physical therapy.
Administrative
The Administrative Department is headed by Kimberly Eccleston, J.D., LLM, CPC, CHC, CMBS
Practice Administrator/In-House Counsel.
She received a Masters in Health Care Law (LLM) in May 2002 from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois. The title of her thesis was “Ensuring Uniform Guidelines in the Treatment of Pain Management Utilizing Model Guidelines for the Use of Controlled Substances.” After completing the requirements for a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1990), she was accepted into the UW Madison Law School and received her Juris Doctorate in 1993. A member of both the Wisconsin and Illinois State Bar, she has also been certified as a Professional Coder by the Academy of Professional Coders, Certified Healthcare Compliance Officer, and Medical Billing Specialists.
